Write to that address about anything on this page. There is no data protection officer, because a site of this size does not need one.

No analytics. No advertising. No tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no social media button that phones home. No cookie is set by this site at all, which is why there is no banner asking you about one. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font network, so opening a page here sends your address to Google exactly never.

The site is served by GitHub Pages, run by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Like every web server, theirs records the requests it answers: your IP address, the time, the page asked for, and what your browser says it is. I never see those records and they are not joined to anything else. The interest that justifies it is having a site at all and keeping it standing up.

GitHub is in the United States. It is certified under the EU US Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses the standard contractual clauses.

The contact page carries one mail link, a button that copies the address, and links to LinkedIn, GitHub and the CV. Pressing the mail link opens your own mail programme with my address already in it, and nothing is sent until you send it. So the only thing that reaches me is the email you decide to write, and it reaches me the way any email does. It stays in my mailbox as long as the conversation is live and for as long afterwards as the law asks me to keep it.

Four settings, and none of them leaves your machine: which of the three languages you chose, the light or dark theme, the text size, and whether reading mode is on. The pages under /run, which are the previous edition of this site, also remember the season you set the game to, whether you muted it and how loud it is, and whether you have been there before. All of it is local storage in your own browser, none of it is a cookie, and none of it is sent anywhere. Clear your site data and it is gone.

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask me to restrict what I do with it, object to it, and ask for a copy in a portable form. In practice I hold nothing but the emails you have sent me. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; for Munich that is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht. Nothing here decides anything about you automatically and there is no profiling.

Vier Einstellungen, und keine davon verlässt Ihr Gerät: welche der drei Sprachen Sie gewählt haben, das helle oder dunkle Erscheinungsbild, die Textgröße und ob der Lesemodus an ist. Die Seiten unter /run, also die vorherige Ausgabe dieser Seite, merken sich zusätzlich die eingestellte Jahreszeit des Spiels, ob der Ton an ist und wie laut, und ob Sie schon einmal dort waren. Alles davon liegt im lokalen Speicher Ihres Browsers, nichts davon ist ein Cookie, und nichts davon wird irgendwohin gesendet. Löschen Sie die Websitedaten, und es ist weg.

Sie können Auskunft verlangen, Berichtigung oder Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Widerspruch und eine Kopie in einem übertragbaren Format. Praktisch habe ich nichts außer den E-Mails, die Sie mir geschrieben haben. Sie können sich außerdem bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren; für München ist das das Bayerische Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht. Hier entscheidet nichts automatisch über Sie, und es findet kein Profiling statt.
